A fire broke out in the basement of the Agudah of Flatbush at around 6:00AM on Sunday, Hoshana Rabba.
It at least 60 firefighters two hours to contain the fire at the Shul, located on the corner of Ave M and Ocean Parkway and led by Harav Moshe Weinberger.
There were no injuries reported.
Bechasdei Hashem there was no damage to the Sifrei Torah or Seforim, but there was some smoke damage and broken glass.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
