Bodek Kosher produce says their romaine lettuce is not affected by the CDC warning not to eat the vegetable.

We have just received results from our laboratory, Bodek romaine lettuce and romaine lettuce products are totally safe to eat.

  1. I think it is irresponsible to highlight a “self-promotion”, “self-monitoring” supplier of a product the CDC says should be avoided for now. It is much safer to have everyone just NOT purchase or consume these products, at home or in restaurants rather than taking even a small risk. Next, we will read that Restaurant XX will announce they are serving Cesar Salad made with Bodek Romaine lettuce so we will have three layers of risk, confirming that the restaurant actually is using only Bodek, assuming Bodek lettuce is actually safe and assuming the Lab they hired is providing accurate results and using accurate testing.
