A serious motor vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of McDonald Avenue and Avenue N, leaving two individuals in critical condition, Tuesday afternoon. The incident unfolded as a vehicle was being pursued by the NYPD and subsequently crashed into two NYC MTA busses.
Flatbush Hatzolah and the FDNY were both on the scene.
Around five other victims suffered injuries, all in stable condition.
At this time, it remains unclear why the police were pursuing the vehicle, and investigations are currently underway to uncover the circumstances surrounding the pursuit and the subsequent accident. Authorities are diligently working to piece together the events that led to this serious incident, and updates will be provided as further information becomes available.
Contrary to earlier reports, these individuals were not connected to yesterday’s armed robbery incident.
