Serious allegations of police violence emerged from a protest in Jerusalem against the construction of light rail infrastructure, when security forces used stun grenades and force to disperse demonstrators.
According to reports, hundreds of Chareidim took part in the demonstration. Disturbing footage circulating from the scene appears to show officers overturning a stroller with a baby inside, while another officer is seen striking it with a baton.
Police said the incident took place on Yechezkel Street, where a violent disturbance broke out. According to their statement, protesters caused damage to public infrastructure, broke into a nearby construction site, and attempted to assault workers.
A police officer at the scene declared the gathering unlawful and ordered the crowd to disperse, allowing time for protesters to leave. When, according to police, demonstrators refused and continued violent activity, forces moved in to disperse the crowd using force and riot-control measures.
Police also stated that officers were attacked during the incident, with three requiring medical treatment, including one who was reportedly bitten on the leg.
Authorities emphasized that while freedom of protest will continue to be upheld, police will act decisively against violence, vandalism, and threats to public order.
Following the release of the footage, Jerusalem District Commander Superintendent Avshalom Peled ordered that the officers involved be removed from duty and brought in for immediate questioning as part of an internal investigation.

This is the typical behavior of the Zionist Nazi Storm Troopers.
and nothing will happen these reshaim are crazy where is bibi condeming it
Leave the stroller at home.
Looks like the guy was hiding under the stroller… whats with some of these people. Babies shouldn’t be pushed around but normal conduct is expected from decent people. The whole scene is a hilul Hashem
Watching the footage it sure seem like the guy was using his baby as a human shield. Just like Hamas does. Even if he wasn’t what normal brings a baby to a violent protest? Even Hamas doesn’t do that
Looks like the Haredi guy is using his stroller to stop the construction of the light rail (why?) police are trying to remove him but he wouldn’t let go of the stroller, there’s one other man doing the same thing, blocking the street with a baby.
Leave babies out of your radical protests.
As a settler, I’ve seen the Israeli police use unnecessary force against teenagers like “Hilltop Youth”. The truth is some are good people put in a difficult situation and others are sadists that enjoy confrontation. The problem is nearly nobody in Israeli society likes or trust the police. They know this, so they all (even the good ones) have a giant chip on their shoulders. That said, I cannot imagine a cop intentionally harming a baby in carriage. And parent that brings an infant to a potentially violent protest is an irresponsible fool.
What do you mean Hamas stores weapons in Children’s Schools and shoots Rockets from civilian homes. Their entire method of warfare is using children as protection. So stop saying they’re not as bad
Was the rail interrupting their learning? What was so important to protest?
Chofetz Chaim suggested thanking Hashem for the trains that enable comfortable transportation.
What kind of psycho takes a baby to a demonstration???
and I hope between this and Hashems clear message that was sent loud and clear to YWN this week, YWN will start showing a true torah hashkafah and not post a single article portraying Hashems biggest enemies in this world in a a positive light.
It always boggled me how these protesters can call human beings with THAT word.
It pains me- but watching this video , I totally agree.
Note the female armed soldier, who hopefully is a mother to a child as well,-holding a baton and defending this truly inhuman behavior.
It shows on a broken modern Israeli society – cut out from the western gentiles by force, and disconnected from G-D by choice.
Just really, hardened & broken Individuals with all emotions ripped out (Sadly – from what this country’s been thru since it’s founding)
Funny, how you never see any Rabbonim at these riots.
