The Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation has just finalized the plan for a major kinus event in response to the tragedies in Mumbai which will be transmitted live over the phone to callers from all over the world. The speaker will be a renowned Rosh Yeshiva & speaker, and will take place this Motzei Shabbos at Yeshiva Ohr Somayach in Monsey.

#3 – while I have never had any mazal with any of the ones I tried, there are US dial out services via the Internet where all you need is to buy credits and to use a standard headset.
Skype is reliable but for some reason I wasn’t able to sign up with their paid phone service from where I am.
Kudos to the CCHF; I’m sure this program will give much need chizuk and perspective. But is this the same time many communities are having hookups to a major Rabbi Frand speech inaugurating the new edition of the Hirsch chumash?
can this be recorded and call-in or video later on, after it is broadcast, for those of us in Israel who can’t listen at 4:30am our time??? please???
