Stony Point, NY – A Franklin Drive family awoke this morning to discover that someone had spray-painted anti-Semitic and racially charged graffiti on a pickup parked in front of their home, the Journal News reports.
Martin Sampson discovered the damage at 6:45 a.m. as he was getting into his Dodge pickup truck to go to work, according to his uncle, Matthew Peltz.
“I almost fell over dead when I saw it,” said Peltz, who has lived in the house for more than 20 years. “It makes absolutely no sense.”
Stony Point police confirmed that they were called to the house to investigate criminal mischief earlier this morning but had no additional information.
Peltz said that the graffiti included a swastika and a racially derogatory term referring to blacks.
