bushFormer President George W. Bush says “we all need answers” on the extent of contact between President Donald Trump’s team and the Russian government, and he defended the media’s role in keeping world leaders in check.

In an interview on NBC’s “Today” show, Bush says he would trust Senate Intelligence panel Chairman Richard Burr to decide if a special prosecutor is necessary. But, Bush says, “I think we all need answers … I’m not sure the right avenue to take. I am sure, though, that that question needs to be answered.”

Bush also defended the media’s role in keeping leaders in check, noting “power can be addictive.” He says: “It’s kind of hard to tell others to have an independent, free press when we’re not willing to have one ourselves.”

  1. While you and everyone else know that Russian interfering with Trumps landslide victory is a HOAX, we ALL NEED ANSWERS to your 9/11 blowing up of the Twin Towers which is not a conspiracy and not a hoax.

  2. If Trump and Russia were in “cahoots”, then it is the biggest “double cross”ever, and the Russian intelligence agents behind it are now in big trouble. Instead of Obama and Clinton who were systematically reducing American military strength, Trump (as could have been expected based on his positions expressed earlier) is massively expanding American military spending while coercing American allies to do so as well. The Democrats’ “reboot” of policy with Russia led to Russia annexing pieces of its neighbors – Trump’s “reboot” is more of a kick in the Russian’s “behind” that seriously threatens the Russians.

  3. The stupid Bush is back, ah
    Who would have thunk?
8 years of Obama he kept quiet but 1 month of Trump and he Ian already talking!

    Everyone wants a FREE Press!
    FREE from LIES!

The press is not free to do or say what ever it wants just like one is not free from screaming FIRE in a auditorium!

Leave it for stupid incompetence BUSH to fall for the left AGAIN.
