Lakewood: Commerce bank helps Coventry Shul

commerce bank.jpgAn arrangement was made between Commerce Bank and Coventry Shul in Lakewood that commerce bank will make an annual donation to the shul based on the average balance in all members’ account. You don’t need to daven in the shul or even live in Lakewood to be part of this program. Commerce Bank representatives will be in the Simcha Hall of Coventry Shul tonight from 8:30 – 10:30pm. For those signing up tonight you will also receive $25 and/or a Free KosherLamp for signing up.

EVEN IF YOU CAN’T ATTEND OR ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT with Commerce Bank, you can still have your balance included as part of the program by asking your local branch to link your account to the “Congregation Yekusial Mordechai Affinity Membership Program”.

[The Newly opened Lakewood branch of Commerce Bank is Located on RT 9 bet. E. Kennedy Blvd & E. County Line RD.]

  1. Why are they giving money to the “Coventry Shul in Lakewood”. Any special reason, just wondering? I recently started with Commerce in Bklyn myself.

  2. They are doing this – A) as a mitzvah B) In order to make money, obviously. The more money clients keep in their account, the more they could lend it out to others and receive interest.

  3. Commerce Bank in Cedarhurst helps our community by allowing depositors to direct the proceeds from the coin counting machine to Yad Yeshaya(Tomchei Shabbos).

  4. “An arrangement was made between Commerce Bank and Coventry Shul in Lakewood”

    “NO ARRANGEMENT WAS MADE”

Any Yeshiva or Shuel can do it!
