Police have told the Times Herald Record that they believe the man whose body was found floating in Echo Lake near Hurleyville this past weekend was a worker at the UTA of Kiryas Joel on Pleasant Valley Road (Satmar Girls Camp). Police have an autopsy scheduled to properly identify the man – whose lifeless body was found by a fisherman on Shabbos afternoon.

The man hadn’t been seen since Friday, and the camp still had pay waiting for him from the last time he had worked, police said.
