Two members of the local Anti-Defamation League have resigned in protest over the decision by the national organization to fire its New England regional director. Andrew Tarsy was fired because he wanted the organization to recognize the Armenian genocide in World War I.
Stewart Cohen, former chairman of the Polaroid Corporation, and Boston City Council member Mike Ross said they could no longer be part of an organization that doesn’t recognize the Armenian genocide.
ADL national director Abe Foxman says the group acknowledges what he calls the “massacres of Armenians” by Ottoman Turks, but says the group needs to protect the Jewish community in Turkey, and work for Israel’s security.

Well, I guess that Israeli tipshus finally arrived in the US. What are these morons thinking? Do they really think that the ADL – or any Jewish org for that matter – has anything to do with other peoples’ massacres? The next step of course will be to have an exhibit in Yad Veshem. Then we can add the ‘nakba’ to the list. Like get reall! Deall with your own internal problems & issues. When all that is done & we have the ‘perfect’ world, then we’ll deal with the “other” stuff.
Well… the ADL is a bunch of leftists anyway. The Torah is not what they go by. So who cares what they do ?
