During the Tishrei Yomim Tovim season, a record-breaking 1.5 million visitors came to the Kosel, with 750,000 arriving during Sukkos week, the daily HaMevaser reports.

It appears there an increasing number of people wish to be �Oleh L�Regel� [as much as we can today], to make a bracha on the four minim at the Kosel.

This year�s Birkas Kohanim, following the tradition of HaRav HaTzaddik R� Menachem Mendel Gafner ZT�L attracted over 70,000 mispallalim. It was the 100th major Birkas Kohanim.

The Kotel Heritage Foundation, Israel Police and other agencies all worked in concert to provide a Yomtov atmosphere for the many visitors and mispallalim, seeing to the cleanliness, atmosphere and safety of the Holy Site.
