Anti-Semitism in Antwerp on Seventh Day of Yomtov

According to a Chadrei Chareidim report, a man tried to run over mispallalim on the night of the Seventh day of Pesach in Antwerp, Belgium in two separate instances.

One of the residents is quoted in the article anonymously as saying “we were walking with our families on the night of yomtov. Suddenly, a driver stopped his vehicle and began to curse at us. He drove his vehicle onto the sidewalk and threatened to run us over. We ran into a nearby building until police arrived. He fled the scene.

“Later on Friday night the driver was back, this time outside the Pshevorsk Beis Medrash. Local gentiles summoned police. Dozens of police responded in our defense and they then took our statements for about two hours. They seemed to have identified the criminal by the vehicle’s license plates. Police notified us on Shabbos that he was apprehended”.
