A woman was fatally shot in the chest by an NYPD officer on a Brooklyn street corner Thursday evening, authorities said.
It happened at around 5:45 p.m. at Church Avenue and E. 38th Street in East Flatbush.
Police said the woman was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead shortly after.
