Shuvu Holds Annual Summer Parlor Meeting


Tonight, Tuesday, July 18, Shuvu will once again hold its Summer Parlor Meeting at the home of Rabbi Gedalia and Rachel Weinberger, at 1757 East 23rd Street in Flatbush (bet. Quentin Road and Avenue R).

Dayan Yonasan Abraham, shlita, a prominent member of the London Beth Din and the new Nasi of Shuvu will be the guest speaker. Long involved in Shuvu, the Dayan has dedicated himself with enthusiasm to Shuvu’s mission. A world-renowned orator, he is certain to uplift and inspire the audience.

Harav Dovid Feinstein, shlita, Rosh Yeshivah of Mesivta Tiferes Jerusalem, is slated to participate in the event.

Shuvu’s operates a network of schools throughout Eretz Yisrael with 15,000 students and family members enrolled in 74 Shuvu schools, pre-schools, afterschool programs and parent outreach programs in 18 cities throughout Eretz Yisrael. The organization employs over 1,000 and has a $26 million annual budget.

Shuvu was envisioned and established by Harav Avraham Pam, zt”l, Rosh Yeshivah of Torah Vodaath and in its 26 years has reconnected hundreds of thousands of Yidden with their Mesorah.

The evening will also feature a video depicting the broad scope of Shuvu’s programs. There will be valet parking. All community men are urged to attend.
