WATCH: How Israel Police Documents Drivers On The Cellphone While Driving

(VIDEO IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)

You may not see them, but police traffic enforcement units are out there documenting violations from afar.

In the accompanying video, the traffic enforcement policeman explains and shows how drivers are documented breaking the law while traveling on highways. He explains the method is used for serious offenses only, such as a driver speaking on the phone without a hands-free device, looking at papers instead of the road, or not wearing seat belts.

The photo documentation is sent to a waiting unit who will make the vehicle stop up ahead and then show the photos and issue summonses.

  1. The way the info / pics are relayed to their colleagues seems to be rather primitive and certainly cannot deal with several “sinners” behind each other.
Even more primitive, is the way they explain exactly how it functions!

    BUT!!!
If this scares drivers into not doing anything but driving, then who cares how it’s done.

May we all be protected by The One Above!!!
