In an interview with Kol Chai Radio’s Noam Zeigman, Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Yechiel Yonah Metzger explained that Iran is trying to take the same road as Haman, להשמיד להרוג ולאבד את כל היהודים and therefore, he has composed a tefillah to be recited when the Aaron Kodesh is opened.

The rav hopes the tefillah will be recited in shuls around the world when the Aaron is opened, asking HKBH to remove the threat that hangs above us.
