In his weekly motzei shabbos drasha, Chacham Ovadia spoke of the events in Shas last week, the achdus that took place, calling it a Kiddush Hashem. He mentioned Aryeh Deri, Eli Yishai and Yisrael Atias by name, praising their willingness to be part of this initiative.

Chacham Ovadia added �Ashkenazim and Sephardim have been telephoning them to congratulate them.� One of calls he received was �the rav from Netanya, the Sanzer Rebbe Shlita, who told me he was reciting tehillim for their success�.

Rav Ovadia Shlita added the Sanzer Rebbe told him that he was davening for the success of the achdus effort, which he too called a Kiddush Hashem.
