Which IDF Commando Lost His Entebbe Medal?

Police investigators that recovered stolen property are now trying to ascertain who the former IDF commando is who lost his Entebbe medal. Among the recovered stolen goods was an IDF medal of honor given to the members of the force that took part in the 1976 rescue of Jewish hostages in the Entebbe airport.

Police report that the suspects’ apartment was full of stolen property, including hundreds of thousands of NIS in jewelry. Among those items the police detectives found the bronze Entebbe medal from one member of that force.

State officials report the medal could be from one of the former members of Sayeret Matkal, Sayeret Givati, Sayeret Tzanchanim (paratroopers), or a member of the air force or medical corps that took part in the mission.
