A yahrzeit event will be held for Rabbi Binyamin Ze’ev and Talya Kahane HY”D marking 12 years since their murders in a terror attack near Ofra. The event will take place on Monday, 18 Teves 5773 on Amtziya (אמציה) Street near Jerusalem’s German Colony neighborhood at 7:00PM.

The Kahanes were traveling on the road near Ofra when over 60 bullets riddled their van. Some of the children were injured in the attack as well. The parents were pronounced dead on the scene.
