“Heil Hitler”, and “It’s most unfortunate that Hitler z”l didn’t finish the job” was among the neo Nazi graffiti seen in a park in the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Pisgat Ze’ev last week.
According to Rabbi Zalman Gilichinski who works with the “Damir” organization assisting victims of anti-Semitism, the graffiti points to the Russian neo-Nazi group Patrol 36 that operate in Israel, not Arabs. He explains the graffiti did not contain mistakes in the German or Hebrew text, strengthening his theory.
Members of the neo Nazi group were extradited after fleeing authorities in Israel in 2007, all non-Jews from the FSU living in Israel. They were placed on trial and sentenced to prison.
