The event in the home of HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita was an emotional one as participants drank a l�chaim in preparation for the dedication of the first beis medrash in memory of Maran HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv ZT�L. Modi�in Illit Deputy Mayor Rabbi Yaakov Wallerstein is the impetus behind the new ???? ??? ?????? Shul that was established in the community.

Present in Rav Kanievsky�s home for the l�chaim were Mashgiach Rav Don Segal, HaGaon HaRav Silberstein (Modi�in Illit), HaGaon HaRav Kessler (Modi�in Illit), HaGaon HaRav Karp, as well as members of the Elyashiv family.

The shul was established in the Kiryat Sefer neighborhood of the city.
