The event in the home of HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita was an emotional one as participants drank a lchaim in preparation for the dedication of the first beis medrash in memory of Maran HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv ZTL. Modiin Illit Deputy Mayor Rabbi Yaakov Wallerstein is the impetus behind the new ???? ??? ?????? Shul that was established in the community.
Present in Rav Kanievskys home for the lchaim were Mashgiach Rav Don Segal, HaGaon HaRav Silberstein (Modiin Illit), HaGaon HaRav Kessler (Modiin Illit), HaGaon HaRav Karp, as well as members of the Elyashiv family.
The shul was established in the Kiryat Sefer neighborhood of the city.
