A number of US organizations recently launched a campaign calling on the Obama administration to end military assistance to Israel. The petition, circulated in honor of Tax Day, notes that during the years 2009-2018 the previous Bush administration slated some $30 billion to the Jewish state, while President Obama will be marking $40 billion for 2019-2028, a move announced during his last visit to Jerusalem.
The petition reads: “As a taxpayer, I am outraged that your administration is reportedly opening negotiations to give Israel up to $40 billion in U.S. taxpayer-financed weapons through 2028. Israel uses U.S. weapons in violation of the Arms Export Control Act and Foreign Assistance Act to commit systematic human rights abuses of Palestinians and deny them the self-determination and justice you claim to support.”
The petition even alleges that aid to Israel denies seniors cancer-fighting drugs: “As sequestration denies seniors on Medicare cancer-treatment drugs, I urge you to fund our communities’ needs and not more weapons for Israel’s oppression of the Palestinians.” Over 6,000 individuals have already signed the online petition. Among the sponsors of this campaign are the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, American Muslims for Palestine, Code Pink Women for Peace, and Jewish Voice for Peace.

Ultimately we will become “Hen Am Levadad Yishkon – UvaGoyim Lo Yitchashav”. That sounds scary now but will ultimately be a blessing for us!
Any word about the tens of billions the US gives to Arab murderers? No? I didnt’ think so.
Hypocrites!!
what are you talking about those arabs deserve all that money after all, all their terrorism is devoted to peace and blowing Israel off the map
1. The Israeli pay for the aid by doing American dirty work (e.g. bombing Syria and Iran).
2. Most of the “aid” is in the form of export credits that provide jobs for American workers (since the “aid” requires buying the goods from US factories), and hurt Israeli workers who can’t compete with the subsidized American goods. If this involve normal commerce, rather than weapons, it would be called “dumping” and would be illegal under international trade law.
3. The weapons sold under these programs tend to be inferior items that Israelis could easily produce themselves. The US doesn’t sell the “good stuff” except to allies – and Israeli is more of an uppity client than an ally.
