Earlier this afternoon, Hatzolah of Los Angeles initiated a search for Joseph Weiss, a 20-year-old man who was reported missing since late Wednesday night, as reported earlier by YWN. “There are currently over 100 volunteers searching for Weiss,” stated Topiol. “We have units scouring beaches and piers from Malibu to Venice as well as conducting neighborhood searches in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, West Los Angeles, and West Hollywood.”

The searches are being performed in a grid formation, with special attention given to area parks and beaches that the missing man has been known to frequent. Earlier today, the search revealed the subject’s bicycle which was chained to a fence with two flat tires.
