An El Al Boeing 737 with 138 passengers on board landed in Ben-Gurion International Airport on Wednesday evening 17 Menachem Av 5773 without incident B’chasdei Hashem.

The flight was already in its landing pattern when an engine shut off. The pilot notified the control tower and the flight received immediate clearance to land. Emergency procedures were activated but Baruch Hashem, the presence of firefighters and EMS personnel was unnecessary.
