One of America’s best known doctors, TV personality Dr. Mehmet Oz from the ‘Dr Oz Show’ visited the United Hatzalah headquarters on Monday, July 29, to learn about the innovative technology United Hatzalah uses to achieve the fastest response time in the world.

Dr. Oz met the organization’s president, Eli Beer, as well as paramedics and EMTs who volunteer for the organization. The visit was part of a tour of the country arranged by Miriam and Sheldon Adelson and various other sponsors.

“I have never seen anything like this before. The combination of advanced technology and such a dedicated volunteer corps is amazing to see,” said Dr. Oz “All these volunteers need is a smart phone and they are able to lead their lives while saving lives.”
