A 22-year-old resident of Silwan is in custody Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) reports. The suspect is believed responsible for a number of recent stabbing attacks in Jerusalem in which Jews and an Arab male were injured.

Police tie the suspect to the stabbing attack of a 52-year-old male in Bloomfield Park in the capital. According to the report, the attacker then fled the scene and stabbed a chareidi male near Shar Shechem and then an Arab male in the same area.

Police report that while they are uncertain of the alleged attacker�s motive, they do believe the attacks were not terror in nature.
