A protest is being held in Yerushalayim on Thursday, 1 Shevat 5774 to coincide with the visit of US Secretary of State John Kerry. Kerry will be continuing his shuttle diplomacy mission between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority) as he tries to compel the sides to agree to the US formula for a peace agreement. Most believe that as has been the case in the past, there is little likelihood of any significant agreement being signed.
The US continues to pressure Israel to relinquish control of the Jordan Valley to satiate the growing PA appetite for control over areas of Eretz Yisrael.
The protesters on Thursday evening will call for the release of Jonathan Pollard. The event will begin at 6:30 PM at 7 King David Street, in the area of the King David Hotel where the senior US official will be staying.

Price tag protesters should be released from jail, have their records expunged, charges dropped, and fines refunded.
With freeing Pollard the US would be sending a message that as long you’re only betraying us halfways, and you’re only spying for a friendly country, then it’s OK.
