
The FDNY was battling a working fire in Midwood, Brooklyn, Tuesday morning. The fire was on the 4th floor of 1171 Ocean Parkway, near Avenue K.�Smoke and flames were seen billowing out of the windows, and the high winds seemed to be fueling the blaze.�Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported, and the fire was brought under control.
Earlier Tuesday morning, the FDNY sent out a press release asking people to be aware that cold temperatures increases fire risks. The release had a list of safety tips to help prevent fires.
