Why Not Declare the Nation of Palestine in Sinai?

sinai.jpgGalei Tzahal (Army Radio) reports that Egyptian President General Abdel Fatah A-Sisi is offering the PA (Palestinian Authority) to establish its state in Sinai. To accomplish this goal Cairo is willing to relinquish control of over 160 square kilometers to permit a PA state that is significantly larger than Hamas-controlled Gaza, five times larger.

According to Sisi’s plan, this would be in addition to areas throughout Yehuda and Shomron already under PA control. This would eliminate PA demands that Israel withdraw to the pre-1967 boundaries. It should be noted that under this plan, the PA would have a nation that would be larger than if Israel cedes all of Yehuda and Shomron.

The report added that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is aware of the offer as is the White House, and the latter has signaled its approval.

The plan is not original, for in fact, it was put forwards by then National Security Council Director Giora Eiland eight years earlier. Egypt rejected Eiland’s plan at the time.

  1. Why not? Probably for the same reason the zionists rejected Uganda. It’s not Palestine.

In any event, everyone denied the story.

The idea is that the Palestinians could establish a government there, for use as a base in attempting to regain the rest of their territory. Bluntly, as long as the zionists control Eretz Yisrael, the war will continue. Either find an alternative the Arabs can live with, or besigned to perpetual warfare.

  2. So, they’d get their own airstrips and shipping ports? Even if accepted by the PA (unlikely), it won’t come without security challenges for Israel.

  3. akuperma: I don’t know why I’m bothering to answer you, but the only alternative the Arabs can live with is that we’re all dead. Get that through your head already. It has nothing to do with the Zionists. It has to do with the Koran. They kill anyone who is not their sect. Look what they did to the xtion Arabs and to religious sites of any other religion but theirs.
