High Ranking Cory Booker Deputy Visits Parnassah Network’s Lakewood Headquarters

2014-11-06 16.27.21Late Tuesday evening, mere hours after the polls closed in New Jersey, newly reelected Senator Cory Booker was personally in touch with Parnassah Network founder and director Reb Duvi Honig about how he can help meet theparnassah needs of his Orthodox constituents.

On Thursday, Senator Booker’s deputy state director, George Helmy, took a trip to Parnassah Network’s Lakewood headquarters and met for several hours with Reb Duvi. The two discussed extensively several projects that are now in full swing, including the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce, grand 2015 Parnassah Expo – Nationwide Business Networking Event, Business Brokerage and Investments Center, and more.

2014-11-06 16.28.14Mr. Helmy was highly impressed with the breadth and innovation of these projects. He expressed confidence that similar initiatives can help improve the economy outside the Orthodox community as well in the years ahead. Senator Booker is one of several leading federal and state government officials, all the way up to the White House, who have forged a close relationship with Reb Duvi and then intimately involved themselves in helping alleviate the parnassah crisis.

Reb Duvi is looking forward to a follow up meeting with Mr. Helmy in the near future. “Senator Booker has an unusually keen understanding of our community and its needs, and is very eager to help,” says Reb Duvi. “On behalf of our community, I would like to offer my sincerest appreciation the efforts that he and his staff are investing in this mission. I look forward to continue working together on behalf of the common good.”
