Former Israeli Ambassador to Washington Dr. Michael Oren may be among the people appearing on the list of the new Kulanu party headed by Moshe Kahlon, Channel 2 News reported. Sources explain the former ambassador has not reached a final decision but he may be leaning towards joining the new party which announces it will place socioeconomic reform atop its agenda.

Kahlon, a former Likud minister of communications, took a break from political life ahead of elections for the outgoing 19th Knesset, at the height of his popularity. While he left amid growing tensions between him and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, whose economic policies did not find favor in Kahlon’s eyes.
