The Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch issued an alert on Sunday regarding a pair that allegedly attempted to lure a young girl into their vehicle, TLS is reporting.

The eight-year-old girl was reportedly walking to a friend’s home in the area of the Kew Gardens/Villas on Thursday, when a vehicle pulled up alongside her, an LCSW coordinator told TLS. The occupants, said to be a black man and woman, allegedly told the youngster to come into their vehicle, at which point the girl fled, the coordinator said.

A police report was made, but the suspects were not located.

Today, LCSW received a call again stating that the suspect vehicle was again spotted in the same area.

The vehicle is described as a white older model Honda Accord, with a black stripe on the hood area.

Anyone with information is asked to call LCSW.
