The flu season in Israel has hit hard and hospitals are filled well beyond capacity. In response to the difficult situation, Ichud (United) Hatzalah volunteers are responding to hospitals to give personnel a hand. Paramedics and EMTs are responding and assisting medical staff where and when possible in a number of major emergency rooms nationwide.

Volunteers are giving a boost in Nahariya, Rambam (Haifa), Beilinson (Petach Tikvah), Assaf HaRofeh (Be’er Yaakov), Hadassah Ein Kerem (Jerusalem), and Barzilai (Ashkelon), Wolfson (Holon), HaEmek (Afula) and Tel Hashomer (Tel Aviv) Hospitals.
