Minister of Senior Citizen Affairs (Bayit Yehudi) Uri Orbach remains in serious condition in Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Yerushalayim. He is in a medically induced coma and on a respirator in the hematological unit. Doctors report there is an ever so slight improvement in his condition, which is still described as “serious”.

As a result of being hospitalized in a non-functioning capacity for a number of weeks, Orbach has been categorized as “temporarily unavailable” and his post will now be filled by party leader Naftali Bennett.

An atzeres tefilla will be held in his behalf in the Merkaz Modi’in Shul in Modi’in with the participation of Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Dovid Lau Shlita and the chief rabbis of Modi’in.

The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for אורי שרגא בן פנינה (Uri Shraga ben Penina) bsoch kol cholei am yisrael.
