As coalition negotiations continue, Shas party leader Aryeh Deri met with Bayit Yehudi party leader Naftali Bennett. The two met on Monday, 24 Nissan in Deri’s Knesset office. It appears both men are aware they will have to work side by side and they are now working to improve relations between each other and their parties.
Deri spokesman Yaakov Betzalel told the press that the two met for 90 minutes and the meeting was held in a good atmosphere. Betzalel added the two spoke about generalities and not particulars pertaining to each party.
