MK Moses: Most Benefiting from Monthly Child Allowance Payments are Not Chareidim

mosesMK (Yahadut Hatorah) Menachem Eliezer Moses explains that despite the outcry against his party, which stands accused of bleeding the treasury dry with its coalition demands, the reality paints an entirely different picture. Moses explains that regarding monthly child allowance payments, 82% of those benefiting from the restoration of the monthly allocation are non-chareidi.

Moses spoke out harshly against the defamatory statements leveled against the chareidi party as a result of the coalition agreement signed. He directed his verbal assault against MK Yael German of Yesh Atid. “You and your friends speak of the price paid to give in to the chareidim. You are all crying because we emptied the national coffer. 2.6 million NIS for children went to chareidim? This is chareidi money? 82% of those benefiting are non-chareidim, children from families with up to 3 children!”

Moses explains that most of the families receiving the monthly child allowance are not even religious. “Your party decided to harm our families. Why aren’t my children entitled to the same as your children? The chareidim simply demanded that which they are entitled to, like other sectors. This is the result of the discrimination they suffered under the administration of [Yair] Lapid and his friends” concluded Moses.

Moses also lashed out against the daily Haaretz, which has been on the attack against Yahadut Hatorah and the chareidi sector since the party signed the coalition agreement.
