In response to threats against her, security officials have stepped up security for incoming Minister of Justice (Bayit Yehudi) Ayelet Shaked. Shaked filed a complaint with Knesset Security Officer Major-General Yosef Girif, explaining she has received numerous death threats. There are also violent statements against her appearing on social networks.
Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein and Girif agreed the situation demand increased security for Shaked.
Barring changes in the schedule, Shaked and her colleagues in the 34th Government will be sworn into office on Wednesday, 24 Iyar 5775.
