A 9-year-old boy on Bartinura Street in Elad was injured when boiling water from a kettle spilled on him.

Ichud Hatzalah EMT Yaakov Miller reported “The child was burned on his upper body from boiling water that spilled from an electric kettle. He was conscious”.

Ichud Hatzalah officials’ remind parents to be extra vigilant when the children are home, as is the case during summer vacation.

Elsewhere in Elad, a boy riding an electric bicycle sustained a head injury when struck by a car on Rabi Pinchas Ben Yair Street. Ichud Hatzalah EMT Refael Barkatz explained “When I arrived I saw the child who was riding an electric bike was hit in his head. The driver of the private vehicle did not require medical care”.

The child was transported to the hospital in moderate condition in a Magen David Adom paramedic ambulance.
