Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Health Minister Yaakov Litzman took part in completing the writing of a Sefer Torah by the President of Ichud (United Hatzalah) Eli Beer and the organization�s CEO, Ze�ev Kashash. The Sefer was donated by Mr. Leonardo Farkash of Chile, with the latter being a major backer of Ichud Hatzalah. Mr. Farkash explained the donation of the Sefer Torah is to honor the organization�s life-saving work in Israel and around the world.

The Sefer Torah was donated to the Jerusalem Great Synagogue and a large festive event is planned during chol hamoed Sukkos. The Chief Rabbis of Israel area expected to participate in the event along with rabbonim and notables.

Mr. Farkash also donated a Sefer Torah to Israel Police in memory of the Druse officer murdered in the Har Nof terror attack.
