Six IDF companies of soldiers are being placed �on loan� to Israel Police as the nation�s police department is using all its resources to combat the ongoing wave of Islamic terror attacks.

The deployment of the soldiers to assist police is one of the decision approved by the Security Cabinet in an urgent session held on Tuesday, 30 Tishrei.

Police and military officials on Wednesday are expected to decide where the soldiers will be deployed.
