Security is being provided for First Lady Mrs. Nechama Rivlin, who up to today, has been moving about without a security detail. Officials state the decision to provide the First Lady with a security detail is not because of any threats, but due to the nationwide security crisis.

The decision-makers decided that due to the sharp increase in Islamic terror, the situation compels placing a security detail on Mrs. Rivlin rather than permitting her to continue moving about alone.
