While it’s true that not all Muslims are our enemy, it’s hard to know who is and who isn’t – one who served in the IDF doesn’t wear it on his sleeve, akuperma, so parents would not feel reassured that their children are safe, even if he’s qualified. But more than than, what right does he have to pray on the job while he is supposed to be guarding? Anyone can walk right in while he’s prostrated on his prayer rug. If your boss gives you a mincha break – great, but otherwise, you’d better daven shachris at an early minyan and mincha during lunch break (or after work in the longer days), else you’re stealing from your employer. But especially a guard – that seems like a gross violation of his duty! Muslims have a harder time making it work with prayer five times a day, but in that chase, those professions that demand constant vigilance cannot be an option for a religious Jew or Muslim who needs to stop for prayer and there is no alternative time to pray. It’s no different than a frum Jew not being able to take a guard job at a sports stadium that includes Shabbos duty. It’s not discrimination – it just doesn’t enable him to practice his religion.

It is true not every Muslim is a terrorist but one does not have to be a terrorist to be a threat. Every Muslim hates Jews it’s in their DNA and if you don’t believe that then check your bris. So even if he is not actually a terrorist when he has to decide wether or not to put his life on the line to protect Jewish kids you better believe he’s going to choose the latter without hesistation. Just stepping aside and not being fully committed to the job makes him a threat even if he won’t pull the trigger himself. To be a security guard in israel you must have served in the army most likely in a combat role. He is most likey a bedouin. I was in the the army with two bedouin soldiers i would trust them with my life
I would trust the Israeli security to know who to give a gun or not. I dont think there ever been a case where arab or bedouin citizen who was given a gun and used it againt an israeli
And there are thousands are bedouins and druze soliders and there was even israeli arab soldiers

While it is true that not every Arab is a terrorist, and some have even protected Jews and saved them, every Arab is a potential terrorist, and one would be extremely foolish to risk his life in order to show that he is liberal and not a raciest. They are our sworn enemy living within us, They just arrested the Arab head of the cleaning staff in an Israeli hospital for telling the Arab employees to take knives and kill as many people as possible. And throughout the years many Arabs have killed their long-time employers. Many of the posters here simply do not know the situation.
