PM Will Not Expand Coalition on the Backs of any Current Coalition Partner

bibPrime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met with the faction heads, the parties that make up the government coalition. He explained that he will not bring any other parties into the coalition to expand it at the expense of the parties in the coalition today.

During the Monday evening 10 Kislev meeting, Mr. Netanyahu told Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennet that if the coalition is expanded, it will not be at the expense of his party amid reports in the media that the Machane Tzioni party may enter the coalition.

When interviewed on the radio earlier in the day, Bennett explained that any change in the guidelines upon which the current administration was established will result in Bayit Yehudi becoming an “aggressive opposition” party.
