Monsey: Ramapo Police Arrest 5 Teens With Gun, Knives, Bullet-Proof Vest And Stolen Property; Police Looking For Victims


g1At approximately 3:20AM on Friday morning, a Ramapo Police officer on a patrol stopped a vehicle in the Hillcrest area for a traffic violation. The vehicle was occupied by five males ranging in ages from 14 years old to 17 years old.

The vehicle occupants were found to be in possession of a Walther P38 handgun, pepper spray, two knives, a bullet proof vest, and an expandable PR-24 baton.

Also recovered was several pieces of stolen property.

The males were arrested and were transported to Ramapo PPolice Headquarters.

These suspects are believed to be responsible for larcenies from motor vehicles in the Hillcrest, Spring Valley, and Clarkstown areas.

They may be responsible for other crimes in the area as well.

The police investigation is continuing.

Ramapo Police are currently working in conjunction with Clarkstown Police on this investigation.
