Police in the northern district on Monday evening Rosh Chodesh Shevat issued a terror alert. A manhunt was underway for 28-year-old Israeli Arab Fatmah Azbarga, from Taibeh and Jerusalem. Checkpoints were set up in and around Nahariya, vehicles inspected and her photos disseminated as intelligence reports stated she was on her way to perpetrate an attack.

A short time later, she was apprehended in a taxi cab in Nahariya.

On Tuesday it was reported that after she was questioned it was determined she was not on her way to carry out any kind of attack and she was released.
