IDF Sgt. Tuvia Yanai Weissman HY”D, 21, was stabbed to death in a Rami Levi supermarket in the Shomron while shopping for his wife and child. Following the latest fatal Palestinian terror attack, the IDF Widows & Orphans organization released the following statement to the press.

“With the deepest sadness and regret we accept another young widow and baby orphan into our family. There is no greater pain than the sudden destruction of a family and we will be there for the Weissmans from now on. No family should have to feel this pain, but unfortunately 8,000 IDF Widows and Orphans already have and work together to support each other.” Said Nava Shoham-Solan, Chairperson of the IDF Widows and Orphans Organization.

IDF Widows & Orphans Organization a non-profit organization recognized by the State of Israel that represents and supports the widows and orphans of Israel’s fallen soldiers. The organization provides social, emotional and financial support to widows and orphans who have suffered the greatest loss: that of a husband and/or father.
