Officials reported he was injured in his upper torso and died in the yard of the Palestinian Embassy before paramedics arrived.

While local police said the death occurred in the diplomatic facility, Bulgarian Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsaro said the body was found outside in a parking area. Palestinian Ambassador Ahmed al-Madbuh blames Israel, and Israel Foreign Ministry Spokesman Emmanuel Nachshon said the “this isn’t an Israeli matter”.
