Shas party MK Yigal Guetta on Tuesday 19 Adar-II stated he is surprised that the Yahadut Hatorah party remains silent and has not responded to the outrageous comments made by MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi.
As reported by YWN-ISRAEL, Tibi used the Knesset podium to release outrages remarks against Rishon LTzion Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Shlita and his father, HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef ZTL. As is often done, remarks made during a shiur, in this case the sale of chametz to a goy which led to discussion of a Ger Toshav led to media comments against Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef. Tibi however also spoke out against Maran ZTL. Guetta stated he is especially surprised by MK Moshe Gafnes silence since the latter is rarely bashful when it comes to comments against prominent rabbonim and Toras Yisrael.

the article doesn’t say exactly what the “outrageous” comments were but the media recently reported on some really stupid and racist comments by Yosef which were reminiscent of similar comments by the father which were politically and substantively inappropriate. Sounds like ordinary free speech.
I see bracha in all this, as Shas at one point wanted to invite the Arab parties into coalition now that wont happen and now the chareidim will have to choose between daas Torah and Zionism/Marxism.
