Rabbi Nachman Berland, a son of Rabbi Eliezer Berland Shlita, met this week with Mekubal HaRav David Abuchatzera Shlita. Rav Nachman quotes Rav Abuchatzera calling his father “A Malach Elokim”.

Rav Nachman met with Rabbi Abuchatzera on Monday 24 Nissan in Nahariya. During the meeting, Rav Abuchatzera referred to Rav Eliezer Berland as “A Malach Elokim” and he davens for him daily.

In an interview with Rav Nachman and ‘כנשתא חדא’ he explains “Rav David was emotional and his words were filled with warmth and he referred to my father as ‘Malach Elokim’ and that he does not stop being mispallel for him. He said the rav is engaged in Torah and tefilla, and it does not matter where he is, speaking of his gadlus”.

Rav Nachman added that Rav Abuchatzera told him he heard Rav Yitzchok Dovid Grossman Shlita traveled to S. Africa to assist him and see if he can do something towards gaining his release. He gave a bracha that the rav should be released.
