[COMMUNICATED CONTENT]

You look at your neighbor next door and wish there was more you can do to help.

We all know first hand of  community members who struggle, on a day-to-day basis, to provide for their families. In these economically challenging times when family incomes have dipped or unemployment has gone up, many yidden find themselves lacking the basic funds for even staple items.

In a vast majority of our homes, we regularly drop our coins or dollar bills into a Tomchei Shabbos pushka. Because of our hectic schedules, however, we rarely pause to consider the monumental work that this dedicated worldwide network of people are doing on a daily basis to help feed those less fortunate.

Comprised of scores of devoted volunteers, Tomchei Shabbos has provided hundreds of thousands of Shabbos and Yom Tov meals to needy frum families over the last several decades.

On June 1 at 2 PM, we turn to YOU.

All of YOU.

Because we need YOU.

Entrepreneur and philanthropist Mr. Nechemia Weinreb of Baltimore explains the concept of successful fundraising by saying, “Donors are excited about how crowdfunding has made it so much easier to reach our communities in just 24 hours. This means that major donors are thrilled about giving more than they did the year before because through their contributions, we can match the donation by 3 to 1 of a person who can only give $18 or $36.  By multiple organizations working together, we can bring in many more people to raise a multi-million dollar goal for Tomchei Shabbos.”

Alan Rosenstock, the founder of Tomche Shabbos of Rockland County said, “Today, we are faced with many people in financial distress looking towards us for help. Some have lost jobs, businesses have been closed, illness and disability of the family breadwinner have left families in desperate need.”

Now, more than ever, Tomchei Shabbos needs your help in relieving the burden of yidden who cannot afford to buy food. One June 1, you can be part of history in the making by taking an active role in this incredible chesed project.
